About MoGfx Design

MoGfx is shorthand for Motion Graphics. Motion graphics is a term used to describe when graphics that use video and/or animation technology to create the illusion of motion or a transforming appearance. These animations are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects.

MoGfx Design was formed by Dave Martinez, a veteran of the television industry with 16 years of experience. Over the 16 years Dave has worked in various areas of the broadcast industry, including live production, linear & non-linear post-production, videographer, electronic graphics, print, web, motion graphics & 3D animation. Dave served as Art Director for WSB-TV in Atlanta for over 8 years, and was instrumental in the transition to High Definition, designing and implementing an efficient work environment built around an Xsan and Apple workstations running the latest in motion graphics applications.
